The County of Yolo is recruiting to fill two (2) regular, full-time positions in the class of Legal Process Clerk I at the Yolo County District Attorney's Office.

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following :

Employment Standards

Experience : One (1) year of general clerical experience.

Substitution : A year of full time education beyond high school may substitute for the required experience.

Typing : Must type a rate of not less than 35 net words per minute.

• type accurately from clear copy; understand and follow written and oral instructions; learn and develop skills prioritizing, maintaining, and coordinating a heavy workload;
• deal with the public in a professional and tactful manner; use independent judgement; work with a variety of California statutes and local ordinances;
• maintains the confidentiality of court-related records; perform simple to average court-related legal clerical duties; operates a computer terminal;
• be accurate in performing duties; establish and maintain effective working relationships with others, including attorneys, coworkers and the general public;

work with a variety of state statutes and local ordinances; read and write at the high school level.
